The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This painting was done in acrylic paint. The frame is made out of old barn wood. The method I used to create this flower effect is called "string pulling". I used three different acrylic colors, white orange and dark yellow. I dipped the string into the color and placed it on the canvas. By slowly pulling the string it creates the flower effect. I placed a new string into the red and then the yellow and created the two middle flowers.
